OUR HEALTH & SAFETY PLAN
Effective May 19, 2020
If a client is experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or feeling unwell, we ask that you reschedule your appointment as you may be asked to leave if we feel that we cannot confidently perform your service.
We are excited to be able to see you again! To ensure the health and safety of both our staff and clients, here is an outline of the changes and protocols you can expect to see when visiting us:
We are open by appointment only. A maximum of 8 people will be permitted within the salon until further notice.
No walk-in clients will be permitted. For retail-only sales, you can view products available on our website and arrange in advance to pick up your order at a pre-scheduled time.
There is no waiting area available. Please wait outside or in your vehicle until we greet you at your appt time.
Face masks are required. If you do not have one to bring with you, one can be purchased once you arrive.
Outside gloves may not be worn into the salon for safety reasons. We can provide you with some if desired upon arrival.
Clients are to arrive on their own. However, if a parent/caregiver is required to assist at the appointment, only one extra person will be permitted to wait inside and must follow the same protocols as any regular client would.
Upon entering, all guests will be required wash or sanitize their hands before being seated and hand sanitizer will be available throughout the salon.
Beverages and magazines can no longer be provided. WiFi is available and guests can bring their own reading material.
Measures we are taking:
Hair stations available for use will be minimum 6 feet apart. A partition has been installed between our hair washing stations, and clear sneeze guards will be placed on our reception and manicure desks.
All workers must wear cloth or disposable face masks and wear a face shield to provide any esthetics services when not separated from a client by an acrylic sneeze guard.
All surfaces, tools, brushes and the payment machine pin pad will be cleaned and disinfected in between each guest and at the end of each day.
The bathroom, reception area, staff room and all door handles will all be wiped down after each use.
We will provide freshly laundered gowns, capes and towels for each hair service client.
No use of neck brushes – instead, a clean freshly laundered cloth will be used to remove hair from neck areas.
Workers will monitor themselves daily for symptoms of COVID-19. If anyone is experiencing any symptoms or is feeling sick, they will be asked to stay home and reschedule all their clients until they receive further guidance from a health care provider.
